Project scope and field context

ATI Panamericana conducted geotechnical drilling services and utility locating services along Avenida Balboa in Colón, Panamá, as part of the Construcción Urbana S.A. (CUSA) and Odebretch, S.A., Cinta Costera project to widen the avenue. ATI performed a series of soil borings in the areas of the proposed approach ramps to characterize subsurface soil conditions. • In addition, ATI used ground-penetrating radar technology to locate underground utilities along the existing roadway and marked their locations prior to the excavation phase of the road widening project.
